Reno

Junk removal in Reno, from the spare room out

Dominic hauls junk out of houses and rentals all over Reno, and he loads it from whatever room it's in. About half of Reno households rent their home, so plenty of what he hauls is a tenant's leftovers in a spare room. Reno is the largest city in Northern Nevada, with over 235,000 people, so a job can be a single recliner or a full house and garage cleanout. The city's cleanup rules are on the Reno page.

If you set the pile out front to wait for a pickup, it can backfire. Under the city's code, a washer or a box spring can't sit in a front or side yard. So your washer stays in the laundry room until he gets there. Since the same yard rule covers recliners and fridges, furniture removal and appliance removal and disposal both begin inside the house.

Hazardous stuff from the garage is a different matter, and the city set a hazardous and electronic waste day at Reno High School as part of its fall 2026 cleanups. Everything else in the garage is his job, branches and clippings included. Anything with life left in it heads to Goodwill before the dump, and the real trash ends up at the Carson City landfill or the Stead landfill. Text a photo to (775) 316-7470.

    Where your junk goes

Usable things go to donation first.

Things that can still be used go to Goodwill first. Metal goes to a scrap yard to be recycled. What's left is real trash, and it goes to the Carson City landfill or the Stead landfill.

    More than junk removal

Junk removal, debris removal, garbage collection, and dumpster rental.

    Debris removal in Reno

Dominic does debris removal, and that takes in remodel debris removal, yard debris removal and concrete demolition. He carries it out from wherever it sits, and dump fees are inside the price. It goes on a silver Ford pickup towing a black Texas Pride dump trailer, 16 feet by 7 feet with 4 foot sides. He also does light demolition, like knocking down an old shed or pulling out a worn deck and fence. The full list of what he hauls and tears out is on all services. Text a photo to (775) 316-7470.

    Garbage collection in Reno

Garbage collection covers trash removal and disposal, waste recycling and donated goods pickup. When your bags stack up after a move or your garage holds years of trash, Dominic loads it up. Usable things go to Goodwill first through donated goods pickup. Metal goes to a scrap yard for waste recycling. Real trash goes to the Carson City landfill or the Stead landfill. Bags and boxes by the door go out as trash removal and disposal. Text a photo to (775) 316-7470.

    Garbage collection in Reno

    Dumpster rental in Reno

Dominic does dumpster rental with a 20 yard roll-off dumpster for $455 for one week, then $15 a day after the week is done. The rental includes 4 tons, and each ton after that is $95. When your project runs for days, a dumpster on site can make more sense than one big haul at the end. It works as a residential dumpster rental for a cleanout or a construction dumpster rental on a job site. Text a photo to (775) 316-7470.

“I had a great experience with Dominic and Reno Junk Removal. Professional, reasonably priced, on time, same day service. My garage was filled with old toxic chemicals from the swimming pool and cans of paint that needed to be properly disposed of. What a relief it was to watch the mess disappear and to know it was not going to have a negative impact on the environment by just going into a landfill. Highly recommended!”

“Dominic’s service was top tier. Within an hour of calling him, he was at my house and ready to haul off the multitudes of junk including the rusty spool of wire left by previous owners, saving our puppy from an inevitable tetanus shot. They can’t be beat on price and they also provide services like snow removal and holiday light decorating. My husband is already looking in to their Christmas lights service. You can’t go wrong hiring these efficient professionals.”

“Can’t say enough good things about Reno Junk Removal. Dom is very professional and responsive. He and Tyler came to my house the same day and picked up and hauled off a quarter of a garage worth of cardboard. The amount of time they saved me from trip after trip of taking it all to the dump was well worth the reasonable price. I highly recommend Reno Junk Removal.”
