Dominic does snow removal in Reno and across the Reno-Tahoe area, and booking it starts with your phone. Text a photo to (775) 316-7470. On this job the pile is snow, the stuff in your way: the drive you need to back out of or the walk to the front door. Snow on the only way out of the house has to go now, so the photo and the timing matter most here.

Maybe you have to get the car out and get to work. Maybe you manage a lot or a walkway that tenants need to get across. Either way, you show the spot and say what needs to be clear. He answers the phone any time, day or night, and works Mon-Sat, 24 hours. Sunday is closed. He gets out same day, most days, and you get a 30 minute to one hour arrival window once a time is set. The towns he drives to are on the list of every town he works in.

What he clears

  • Snow off the driveway
  • Snow off front walkways
  • Snow from parking lots
  • Snow off the front steps
  • Junk that turns up under the snow
  • Branches piled by the fence

What does a snow removal job include?

A snow removal job is clearing the snow off the part of the property you need to use. That's the whole idea. You decide what has to be open, and the picture shows how much is sitting there.

Take the photo so it shows the full area, edge to edge, and how deep the snow sits against something you know, like a step or a tire. A shot of one corner doesn't price a whole lot, and a close-up of the porch doesn't show the drive behind it. If two areas matter, the drive and the side gate say, send two pictures and name both in the text. If you manage the property, start with one wide shot of the lot and one of the walkway to the units. He asks for more pictures if he needs them, then gives an estimate or sets up an in-person quote. If there's junk under the snow too, what he hauls shows what can go on the same trip.

How much does snow removal cost in Reno?

Jobs start at $80, and the rest is priced from your photo. When a picture can't show enough, like a big lot or a long drive, he comes out for an in-person quote instead.

The price covers the whole job you agreed on. Dominic's rule is simple. The quote holds unless the job turns out bigger than the photo showed. So the better the picture, the closer the number lines up with the work.

If junk leaves the property on the same visit, that part is set by how much room it takes on the truck. Loading, hauling and disposal are inside that number, and dump fees are part of the price, never a separate line. You can pay with cash, credit or debit card, Venmo, Zelle or check. How does a snow removal call go from first text to done?

It starts with what you need cleared and a picture of it. When you call or text, Dominic asks what has to be open, asks for photos if he needs them, and gives you an estimate or sets up an in-person quote.

Once you approve the price, he sets a day and a time and shows up on time. Before any work starts, he walks you through what he's going to do, so there's no guessing about which part of the property gets cleared. When the work is finished he cleans up the area and does a final walkthrough with you.

If you manage the property, that walkthrough is the useful part. You can check the lot and the walkways against what you asked for while he's still on site, instead of hearing about a missed spot from a tenant later.

What happens to junk that turns up under the snow?

The snow stays on the property. Anything that turns up under it, like a rusted grill or a cracked patio set, goes to Goodwill first if someone can still use it. Metal goes to a scrap yard to be recycled. Real trash goes to the Carson City landfill or the Stead landfill.

If there's junk or a pile of branches on the same property, put it in the same text, and he can haul it on the same visit. Branches by the fence or along the drive are yard debris removal, and they go on the same load as the rest.

Does Dominic go up to the lake towns for snow removal?

Yes. The Tahoe side is part of the area. Truckee, Incline Village, Kings Beach, Tahoe City, South Lake Tahoe and Stateline are all covered, along with Reno, Sparks, Verdi and Stead closer in. Each lake town has its own page on the full list of towns.

He drives up to 75 miles for a job, and the lake towns all fall inside that. Put the town in your text with the photo, so he knows how far the run is before he gives you a time. Sunday is closed wherever the job is, so snow that falls Saturday night waits for Monday.

“Reno Junk Removal did a fantastic job clearing the snow from our driveway following several large snowstorms this winter! Dominic was great about providing updates regarding his estimated arrival time/scheduling, and he is so easy to communicate with. He had two helpers with him and they were all very capable and efficient. They also offer a wide range of other services in addition to snow removal, and I would definitely use them again for future projects!”
