Dominic handles construction dumpster rental in Reno and the Reno-Tahoe area, setting a 20 yard roll-off at your job so the tear-out has somewhere to go. Text a photo to (775) 316-7470 to get it booked. A construction job makes debris over days. The drywall might come off one afternoon and the cabinets the next. With a box on site, each day's mess goes straight in instead of piling up in the garage or across the yard.

If you're halfway through a kitchen or bathroom remodel, or you're keeping a job site clear while the crew works, this is the rental for you. It stays put for the week, and you fill it on your own schedule. When the debris is already sitting in one pile and you'd rather not lift it twice, construction debris removal fits better. He works with a helper, Jake, and the debris gets loaded and hauled off for you.

His roll-off is a 20 yard box, and the 20-yard dumpster rental page covers its size and terms. On a remodel, timing is the part to plan. The week starts when the box arrives, so book it for the day the demolition begins, not the day you order the new cabinets, so the week goes to the messy part of the job.

What goes in a construction dumpster?

Remodel and build debris, mostly. Torn-out drywall, scrap lumber and framing offcuts, old cabinets and countertops, pulled-up flooring and carpet, broken tile, and the boxes the new fixtures came in. It's what a job makes every day it runs, which is why a box that sits on site for a week suits it better than a single haul-away. A bathroom gut and a kitchen tear-out are the usual jobs behind it.

Weight is what sets a construction box apart from one filled during a garage cleanout. Drywall and lumber fill the box before they get heavy, but broken concrete and tile can hit the weight limit with the box half full. The rental includes 4 tons, so say what's coming out when you book.

What can't go in a construction dumpster?

Asbestos is the one that matters most on a tear-out. If any of the old material might contain it, keep it out of the box, because Dominic won't take it in the dumpster or as a haul-away. Propane tanks stay out too, whatever their size. So does medical or biohazard waste, and anything with bed bugs or pests.

Leftover paint is different. He takes it, and it goes to Greymar for disposal, so the half-empty cans from the last coat don't have to sit in your garage. The guide to what goes on the truck has the longer list.

How much does a construction dumpster rental cost?

The 20 yard roll-off is $455 for one week, then $15 a day after the week is done. Four tons come with it, and each ton past that is $95. On a long remodel the daily rate adds up quietly, so have the box picked up once the tear-out is finished.

When the debris is already in one pile, a haul-away is priced differently. Jobs start at $80. You send a photo, or he comes out for an in-person quote when the job needs one, and the price covers the whole job, set by how much room the load takes on the truck. Loading, hauling and disposal are inside it, and dump fees are never billed on top. The quote holds unless the job turns out bigger than the photo showed. Text a photo to (775) 316-7470.

How does booking a construction dumpster work?

You tell him what the job is and send pictures if he asks, then he gives an estimate or comes out to look. Once you approve the price, he sets a day and a time and shows up on it, with an arrival window of 30 minutes to an hour. On a job site run by a manager, set the day with whoever controls access.

If the tear-out is done before the box arrives, the pile can be carried out from the basement or an upstairs bathroom instead, as a haul-away. Nothing has to be dragged to the curb first. Before the loading starts, he explains the work so you know what's going and what stays.

Where does the construction debris go?

Donation comes first, so point out the pieces worth saving when you send the photo. On a haul-away, anything still usable goes to Goodwill, like a set of cabinets in good shape or a box of unused fixtures. Metal, such as old ductwork, pipe or rebar, goes to a scrap yard to be recycled. The real trash, the broken drywall and the scraps, goes to the Carson City landfill or the Stead landfill.

Once the load is out, he cleans up the spot where the pile sat and does a final walkthrough with you before he leaves. On a remodel that leaves the room clear for the next stage of the job.

How far from Reno does Dominic bring a dumpster?

Up to 75 miles, which is how far he drives for a job. That takes in the lake, from Incline Village and Kings Beach to South Lake Tahoe, along with Truckee, Carson City, Gardnerville, Dayton, Fernley and Fallon. The list of towns he works in shows the rest, Minden and Virginia City included.

The box is set Monday through Saturday, so for a job starting Monday, text by Saturday. He answers the phone any time, day or night, so you can text the photo after the crew leaves for the day. For a pile that's already sitting, he gets out same day, most days.

“I found Dom on Facebook, and he responded within moments. He was at my house within 30 minutes with his dumpster. At the time I didn’t realize that he could help us. I didn’t know what I was going to do was entailing so much that day. But I managed to fill his dumpster with all kinds of stuff. I will be using him again for more projects around my house. One thing I liked is that he gave me a price and he stuck to that price. He was very courteous and prompt. I really appreciate that in young people today when they’re polite and courteous. I will definitely be using Dom again. Thank you Dominic. I really appreciate your help.”

“I had a great experience with Dominic and Reno Junk Removal. Professional, reasonably priced, on time, same day service. My garage was filled with old toxic chemicals from the swimming pool and cans of paint that needed to be properly disposed of. What a relief it was to watch the mess disappear and to know it was not going to have a negative impact on the environment by just going into a landfill. Highly recommended!”

Questions

Questions about construction dumpster rental.

What's the minimum for hauling off construction debris?
$80 is the minimum. A haul-away is quoted from a photo of the pile, and the 20 yard roll-off is a separate rental at $455 for one week.
How long can I keep the 20 yard dumpster?
One week comes with the $455 rental. After that it's $15 a day until the box goes.
What if the dumpster weighs more than 4 tons?
Each ton over 4 is $95. Concrete and tile add weight fastest, so mention them when you book.
Will Dominic take leftover paint from the remodel?
Yes. Leftover paint goes to Greymar for disposal, and a paint can runs $10 to $20.
Can old flooring with asbestos go in the dumpster?
No. Asbestos is refused, in the box or on a haul-away, and so are propane tanks.
How do I pay for a construction dumpster?
Cash, credit or debit card, Venmo, Zelle or check all work. Text a photo to (775) 316-7470.
